Emily Jones is our Hero of the Month! And the title is more than well deserved: After reaching the podium in the Supercars All Stars Eseries in 2019, qualifying for the World Finals in Gran Turismo and winning the All-Star Race of the 2020 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup, she proved what an excellent driver she is. On top of that, she also joined us for the latest episode of Nitro Nights!
Early practice makes perfect
Like many other (sim) racers, Emily has been fascinated by racing from an early age. Having started karting at ten years old, the Australian moved to cars at 18 but found her love for sim racing just two years later. Now, the 27-year-old is a successful sim racer who has competed in various big competitions. Emily’s constant improvement is impressive: In the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual 2020 race, she even overtook Charles Leclerc, who is one of her favorite drivers ever.
Besides also winning the All-Star race of the PESC, Emily has qualified for the GT World Finals where she will represent Australia in nations and Audi in manufacturers. With her strong squad, she hopes to fight her way to the podium.

Driving is for everyone! I want to see as many people driving as possible. I’d really like to see people from more diverse backgrounds getting into racing. It’s something that we can all do, and it’s really really fun! I wish there were more of us.
