It's here! The CART mod for Automobilista with an authentic Reiza turbo model, the latest AI parameters, tire physics improvements, and improved sound samples to bring the CART mod up to AMS 1.51 standards.

You should be able to upgrade an existing installation by overwriting your existing version. However it is best to remove your old version first by deleting the following folders...

\GameData\Talent\CART
\GameData\Vehicles\CART_Extreme

Then extract the contents of " CART_Extreme_AMS_v150.rar" to your Automobilista installation.

CART v1.30 log :

  • Updated sound samples to 44.1 KHz following Reiza standards
  • Added & adjusted AI parameters to match latest Reiza standards
  • Increased max LODOut distance from 500 to 600 as in Reiza latest standards
  • Adjusted default road setups for slightly more front wing & softer roll bars
Hi guys, new stuff for the CART.

Changelog :

- Updated shaders
- Updated sound effects
- Updated physics - added new engine wear functions, tweaked collision feelers, tires, inertia
- Fontana chassis config fix in trackconfigbase

Just overwrite files in root folder
- new tga by Thiago and series number corrected
- throttle maps added
- pneumatic trail function corrected to match latest code
Here we go, all is ok now.

NOTE : if you have online issues, please delete the cart extreme folder in gamedata/vehicles and reinstall V1.11. Can happen if you installed V1.10 or 1.0
Graphics

  • improved rims, suspension materials & textures
  • improved cockpit, steering wheel, glass materials
  • Windshield has been detached from carbody (to avoid receiving shadows)
  • Increased front tire model poly count for more rounded look


Physics

  • Corrected X, Y Inertia Values for all 4 chassis
  • Corrected engine compression for all 4 engines
  • Tweaked brake response curve, heating & torque
  • Increased gearbox RPM tolerance & tweaked timings
  • Adjusted weight distribution in Swift & Reynard chassis
  • Minor adjustment to tire peak slip angles
  • Adjusted default ride height on road courses

Sounds

  • Minor refinements to onboard samples
