Williams Esports' Moritz Löhner retained his ADAC GT Masters eSports 2020 title in a dramatic final round of the RaceRoom championship on Saturday. Löhner's Williams stablemate Jack Keithley headed into the event as the points leader but a miserable qualifying session left him down in ninth place for the opening race at the virtual Oschersleben.

Keithley recovered to run fifth but a spin into the barriers left him down in 15th place at the chequered flag, dropping him to third in the championship. Another Williams Esports racer, Nikodem Wisniewski, won the race ahead of new points leader Löhner.

Red Bull Racing Esports Team' Nestor Garcia boosted his title hopes by taking pole position for the title-decider but he then lost the lead to Team Redline's Kevin Siggy on the opening lap. Garcia pressured Siggy throughout the race but he couldn't prevent the Slovenian racer from taking the win.

Löhner followed them home in third place to beat Garcia to the title by just three points. He took home $10,000 for securing the championship. Keithley sealed third position in the standings with a fourth-place finish in race two.

Harth leads Yokohama 1-2 in iRX at Sonoma

Team Yokohama's Yohann Harth won the latest round of the 2020 iRacing Rallycross World Championship at Sonoma Raceway to close the gap to his championship leading team-mate Jon Robertson.

Red Bull athlete Mitchell deJong had to serve a qualifying ban for this round. This put him in the firing line during his heat. On the first lap, deJong – starting from the back – was sent into a spin and failed to book his place in the feature race final. A disappointing result for the 2018 world champion.

Another title contender, Tommi Hallman, took pole position in qualifying but was blighted by technical issues throughout the event. There were no such issues for Frenchman Harth who controlled the feature to secure his second victory of the season. 15 points separate team-mates Robertson and Harth at the top of the drivers' championship with three rounds remaining.

There was carnage in the All-Star Invitational event, as six drivers were caught up in an opening lap collision, clearing the way for a battle between the two real-life rallycross drivers Conner Martell and debutant Andreas Bakkerud, who is one of Norwegian's most accomplished racers. The fight reached fever pitch on the final lap of the 10-lap feature race when Martell tipped World RX star Bakkerud into the wall. Martell held off last week's winner Sage Karam to win the race by 0.653s and earn a Dreyer & Reinbold Racing one-two.
