The 2020 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series boasts an incredible prize pool of $300,000. The victor gets the lion’s share of this sum with $100,000. On August 11, we will witness the twelvth round of the spectacle, which takes us to Watkins Glen International.
Currently, Keegan Leahy leads the standings with 352 points. However, the 16-race series still has plenty of room for Leahy’s contenders to make a move. And they certainly will try their hardest: with Ryan Michael Luza, Ray Alfalla and Michael Conti he’s closely followed by three eNascar world champions.
As usual, you can follow the event live on iRacing’s YouTube channel.
Return of the King?
Sebastian Job has had a great run at the 2020 Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup so far. The 20-year-old Brit has won two races, which puts him in a dominant position. However, Joshua K Rogers has taken up the chase.
The defending Porsche Esports Supercup champion won the previous round in Atlanta, mitigating Job’s edge. However, if he wants to pass the young talent, the Australian needs to repeat his impeccable performance from last week at Brands Hatch Circuit. And don’t forget Alejandro Sánchez and Maximilian Benecke: the Spaniard and the German currently occupy places three and four, and are well in reach of the two points leaders.
Just like any other iRacing competition, you can watch this tournament live on Porsche’s or iRacing’s YouTube channel.
ADAC GT Masters eSport at the Nürburgring
The brand-new season of the ADAC GT Masters eSports in RaceRoom takes us to Nürburgring for Round 2 on August 15. Last time, Williams Esports dominated the race with Jack Keithley and finishing first and second respectively.
With R8G Esports’ Erhan Jajovski, Red Bull Racing Esports Team’s Néstor García and Mahle Racing Team’s Moritz Löhner, the field of participants boasts many talented drivers.
Over the course of seven races, the 20 comptitors are joined by special guests to fight for the $10,000 main prize as well as other monetary and non-monetary rewards. You can enjoy the race on ADAC’s YouTube channel.
Visser enjoys championship prematurely
Beitske Visser cannot be stopped: the Dutch racer has dominated the W Series Esports League 2020 in iRacing like no other driver. The last race day on Thursday, August 13, is going to conclude the season, but there is no way to prevent Visser from becoming champion. With 439 points she is 68 ahead of the current second place, Marta Garcia.
The most interesting storyline is going to be the duel for second place between Garcia and Irina Sidorkova. While Sidorkova used to be the Visser’s fiercest competitor early in the season, Garcia caught up mercilessly and overtook Sidorkova in the standings. If it wasn’t for the huge advantage of the upcoming champion, the Spaniard could have been a real contender for taking the championship.
The final race at Silverstone can be watched live on YouTube at 7 PM CEST.
World of Outlaws remains exciting
The 2020 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Championship Series is approaching its final stages as well. At Knoxville, the competitors will participate in Round 8 of the $25,000 tournament on Sunday, 9 PM ET (Monday, 3 AM CEST). All eyes will be on Dylan Wilson and Hayden Cardwell and Evan Seay. The three racers are some 50 points ahead of the other participants.
Although Devon Morgan and Kendal Tucker are still in reach to challenge them, the three point leaders could escape their pursuers for good.
The iRacing action can be watched on YouTube.
