Since 2019, the premier racing championship on iRacing has been the Porsche TAG Heuer Esports Supercup. 30 drivers compete for a share of a $200,000 prize pool in the Porsche 992 GT3 Cup across seven rounds.
Drivers decide their grid positions for the first race by a single-lap superpole shootout, and then they run a 50 kilometres Sprint Race. Then for the Main Race, the finishing order sets the grid with the top eight inverted, and it goes for 100 kilometres.
The top five in qualifying score points with 10 going to the driver who sets the fastest time. The top 20 in the Sprint Race score points with the winner getting 25 points, and the top 25 score in the Main Race with the winner netting 50. All rounds consist of this format, with the exception of the Monza finale which has two Main Races of the same length and awards out 50 points for the win in both races.
Additionally, new for this year is the mid-season tournament set for Round 4. The event consists of five heat races of three laps each with six drivers per heat, with the top two progressing to the final whilst the remaining drivers enter into an eight lap consolation race, of which the top five go to the 16 lap final.
Along with the pros in the Supercup, there is also a set of races featuring sim racing content creators and even the occasional real world racing driver. These are the All Star races that will see the drivers racing not only the 992 GT3 Cup, but also the 963 and the 911 GT3 R.

The 15 drivers who accumulate the most points will be invited to race in the Porsche Esports Contender Series against the bottom 15 drivers from the main series. The top 15 drivers in the Contender Series standings are then eligible to compete in the main series for the following season.
