The Racing Unleashed Challenger League and Racer League competitions are held exclusively in Racing Unleashed sim racing centres across Europe. Drivers compete on Assetto Corsa in F1-style cars and are not permitted to compete from home.

Both the Challenger and Racer League consist of ten rounds, with a qualification phase for all Challenger League competitors running for nine days and ending two days before the race itself. The 20 drivers partake in a unique qualifying format to set the grid for the race, with a short race where they line up in reverse championship order and the last two drivers in the running order after a lap are eliminated.

The eliminated drivers then get placed on their respective row on the grid for the main race. The races themselves are roughly 30 minutes in length, and the points system is the same as F1 with 25 points for a win and goes down to tenth for the final solitary point. There’s also prize money, with the Racer League round winner earning 3,500 CHF and the Challenger League round winner earning 750 CHF.

How to Follow

All rounds are broadcast on RU’s YouTube channel with English language commentary and on RU’s Twitch channel with German language commentary.
