The third and final seasonal cup for the Esports Racing League before the second edition of the VCO Esports Racing World Cup. The series that requires teams to compete on not one, but three platforms: iRacing, rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Format

Up to 30 teams nominate five drivers to compete across four events, consisting of short races that are no longer than 15 minutes. With three drivers in every event, they first compete across three heat races with a team’s best two results across those three races counting towards their progression. The top 14 teams then compete in two Quarter Finals races.

Each team’s best two placed drivers contribute to a team’s points tally in that race. The top three from the Quarter Finals enter into a Semi Final, and then the top two enter into the Finals. There’s two races at least with the first set by qualifying, the second with the top four from the first race reversed, and if the two teams both have won one then there’s a third set by another qualifying session.

Like in the ERWC and ERL Spring and Summer Cup, each platform sees every driver competing in the same car. In the ERWC and ERL Spring Cup, it was the Mercedes-AMG GT3 on ACC, the Formula Pro on rFactor 2 and the Holden ZB Commodore V8 Supercar on iRacing. For the Summer Cup, it was the Toyota Corolla BTCC on rFactor 2, the Dallara IR18 IndyCar on iRacing and Porsche 992 GT3 Cup on ACC.

For the Fall Cup, iRacing‘s own iR-04 single seater will be utilised as will the BMW M2 CS Racing on ACC and the Stock Car 2018 (NASCAR) on rFactor 2. Each car is used once per event except for the iR-04 as the final round of the season is the Masters, in which the top 12 teams from the first three rounds compete in 1vs1 races to determine who will be the seasonal champions. Just like in the Spring on ACC and in the Summer on rFactor 2.

As for circuits, they’re decided via a track vote on VCO’s own social channels. Two tracks are presented the day before the event.
