Two of the most well-known and highly regarded sim racing games in the world are iRacing and Assetto Corsa Competizione. Naturally, there are many areas in which one is stronger than the other, but when it comes to GT3 racing it hasn’t always been very clear which game offers the better overall package. As such, we thought we would make a video for you all to clear up any confusion and officially crown one of these two titles as the top dog for GT3 racing.
Battle of the GT3 Titans
When trying to ascertain whether iRacing or ACC is the better platform for GT3 racing, it’s important to work out specific criteria on which to judge them. Each game certainly has areas which it can claim victory in, but what we are looking for is which side has the most ‘points’ by the time we’ve looked at every possible factor.
For instance, when it comes to the games’ diversity in terms of the cars and setups which are viable for competition, ACC gets one over on iRacing. However, when it comes to factors such as the online multiplayer, that’s where iRacing regains some lost ground. Other areas we considered include the feel of the cars, and also the audio-visual experience each game has to offer.
Overall, our winner took a narrow victory. The fact that this score is so close shows that both games provide pretty good GT3 racing, and that there is little to choose between the two. To find out which game we gave our nod of approval to, take a look at our video now!
