Clash of Racers II will enter the next level of racing action on December 13 at 6 PM CET (12 PM ET). For a second time, OverTake’s main event will assemble famous sim racers and other esports celebrities for the ultimate challenge. Esports racing and real-life racing challenges will be even more strongly connected this time. Be assured: our captains will have a much harder time squeezing out an advantage for their team in this edition. League of Legends host Eefje ‘sjokz’ Depoortere and League of Legends headcoach Jakob ‘YamatoCannon’ Mebdi will follow in the footsteps of Kevin ‘Kev1n’ Rubiszewski and Max Benecke.
Starpower at Clash of Racers II
Their teams are packed with many promising names. Sim racing influencer and OverTake hardware expert David ‘Dave Gaming’ Karapetian is a veteran of the first edition of Clash of Racers and eager to avenge his defeat against colleague Jimmy Broadbent. The British sim racing superstar will be a guest again, too. Just like MaximeMXM who raced a very entertaining Trackmania challenge against Cem Bölükbaşı last time.

Of course, some new faces will join the contest as well. Gentleman racer Jardier will be a first-time participant alongside our first Hero of the Month, Emily Jones. To demonstrate the broad interest in virtual racing, gaming content creators Cyanide and rAii from the German YouTube channel “Pixelhelden” will have their spot on the grid, too. The muscle himself, James ‘Gamermuscle’ West, completes the roster. Have a look at our team announcement to get more detailed information on who our racers are and which team they are driving for. Our contenders are without a doubt in the mood for (friendly) beef.
For some reason @OverTake_gg have invited me back to their second #ClashOfRacers event. Looking forward to getting revenge on Cy for his blatant cheating during our last race together. Team Green 4 lyf. #ad pic.twitter.com/IWmESNZvAw

Captains take on challenges
Instead of just relying on the community to provide benefits to their team, sjokz and Yamato will actively participate in real world challenges in between races. Those will be a Carrera race, RC autoball and Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, for example. The winner gains different bonuses like the right to define the starting grid, bonus points or double score in the next challenge. The main races will be held in F1 2020, Assetto Corsa Competitzione, Trackmania and iRacing. Get a detailed overview of the tournament system in our dedicated article.
