The second World Cup in Assetto Corsa Competizione is confirmed. This time, organizer The Sim Grid features a prize pool of $20,000.

Community platform and tournament organizer The Sim Grid announced the second The Sim Grid World Cup in Assetto Corsa Competizione this Thursday, January 21. The total prize pool of the World Cup is $20,000. According to The Sim Grid, there might be more non-cash prizes available as well.
Similar to Season 1, a maximum of 50 teams with 4 drivers each will complete a series of 12 and 24-hour endurance races. In Season 1, the locations were Kyalami, Suzuka, Bathurst and Spa. The circuit list for Season 2 is not yet known.
The top 15 finalists from the previous World Cup received an invitation to participate again. The remaining slots are open with qualifiers coming soon.

GTWR Simulator Giantruck dominated the first World Cup
The Sim Grid is a page where amateur and professional sim racers can compete against each other in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Their first iteration of the World Cup came to an end in November 2020.
GTWR Simulator Giantruck claimed the gold trophy with three victories from the total of four races, driving the Audi R8 LMS Evo. Runners-up were FFS Racing in the Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 2018 and Like And Subscribe Team with the Mercedes AMG GT3.
