What DLC Will Be Added to ACC in the Future?

Assetto Corsa Competizione

Assetto Corsa Competizione was released back in 2018, and since that point it has been a fan-favourite simracing title. To make sure that it stays that way, the developers Kunos Simulazioni have consistently added new content to the game. But what future DLC can we expect for ACC?

ACC’s role as the official game of the GT World Challenge series means that Kunos holds many official licenses. The right to reproduce cars, tracks, and teams has allowed them to keep bringing fresh content to the game. However, we human beings always want more. So, here are some ideas for what future DLC might be in store for Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Future DLC for Assetto Corsa Competizione

In the past, many cars and tracks from the GT World Challenge Europe were added to ACC. However, with the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Kunos were unable to scan in every new track that the series raced at.

Circuits such as Magny-Cours, the new Zandvoort, the circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, and the Hockenheimring are all part of the current GT World Challenge Europe calendar. However, none of these are yet in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Therefore, it’s a distinct possibility that Kunos plans to add these tracks soon.

While looking towards the GT World Challenge Europe tracks is promising, circuits from another part of the world might be higher on the priority list. The GT World Challenge America is thus far under-represented in ACC. However, the latest teaser trailer for the game showed a shot of the Circuit of the Americas. This surely means that Kunos plan to add COTA soon, but can we expect more American circuits along with it?

GT World Challenge America Content Pack

It seems most likely, therefore, that the next content drop for the sim will be based on the American series. If this is the case, there are several new tracks and even a new car which Kunos might add soon.

Sonoma, Nola, Virginia International Raceway, Watkins Glen, Road America, Sebring, and Indianapolis are all on the GT World Challenge America calendar. Perhaps some or all of these will be available in ACC soon.

Not only are all of these circuits possible additions, but there is also one car that only races in America. This is the Acura NSX GT3 Evo 2. Assetto Corsa Comeptizione doesn’t currently feature the car. But, if Kunos do plan on adding more American content, this would be an obvious choice.
