After promising the addition of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix circuit for an October release back when Portimão was added, Codemasters have now added in the renowned Italian circuit. This means that all that is left is the addition of the Jeddah circuit which will be released in November before the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place.

Not Only Imola
In a patch released today, Codemasters have also implemented an Esports Pit Release option into multiplayer which we will see in action during the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship races this evening. There was also added support for users of the Fanatec CSL DD Pro and other types of hardware. All patch notes are available to read here.
But perhaps the most notable addition besides Imola is the white Honda tribute livery that Red Bull raced during last weekend’s Turkish Grand Prix. On the weekend of what would have been the Japanese Grand Prix had it not been cancelled, drivers Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez raced this special one-off livery to second and third place finishes respectively.

The livery features the Japanese term for ‘thank you’ on the sidepods and rear wing, as 2021 will be Honda’s last as being directly involved in F1. Red Bull will take over the development of the Honda engine as of 2022 with Honda providing some assistance. It would seem that players cannot choose between the regular dark blue livery and the Honda white tribute. Be warned, the livery will only be available in game for a limited time!
A sign of things to come?
Other teams have run special liveries this year, including McLaren Shadow with their Gulf colour scheme at the Monaco Grand Prix, and Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Racing with an Italian tricolore livery that they ran at Monza. The inclusion of Red Bull’s Honda tribute livery could be an indicator that we could see more special liveries be added in the future, hopefully with the option of switching between them and their regular counterpart.
