Esports racing giant Veloce have announced the signing of three up-and-coming stars of the F1 Esports and league racing scene. These three are Nicolás Mateo, Valentin Brüffer and Jake Benham. They’re signed on as development drivers and they will be most likely be tasked with running setups and strategy simulations for the F1 Esports teams that Veloce manage.
Veloce are responsible for the esports divisions of three F1 teams. These being Alfa Romeo, McLaren and Mercedes, who all became affiliated with Veloce since 2018, 2020 and 2021 respectively. Veloce’s biggest success in the Pro Series was now-Mercedes F1 Esports driver Jarno Opmeer winning the F1 Esports Pro Series 2020 for Alfa Romeo.

Veloce rely on top talent
As far as the new signings are concerned, all three are immensely highly rated. Mateo finished the F1 Esports Challenger Series on PC third and Brüffer – or ‘Vasterracer’ as he’s more commonly known – won the championship on PS4. Benham originated on Xbox but has since moved to PC and impressed immensely against some of the top F1 Esports regulars.
The future is bright for all three. You can watch Mateo and Benham both compete alongside the best in F1 Esports this Thursday in the first round of Premier Sim Gaming Leagues’ top PC tier, and all three are likely going to be in contention for a place in the Pro Series in the future.
