McLaren’s Formula One driver Lando Norris is the newest addition to the roster of the Australian BP Supercars All Stars Eseries. The virtual racing series in iRacing goes into the sixth out of ten rounds on Wednesday at 11 AM CEST (5 AM ET).
Norris will join the race on the virtual tracks of Spa and Nürburgring. He is not the first Formula One racer to compete in the Supercars Eseries – Red Bull star Max Verstappen participated in round two of the event and finished three out of four races in second place.
The 20-year-old British driver will race for Walkinshaw Andretti United, piloting a Holden ZB Commodore. He will try to challenge the Supercars elite, including professional driver Scott McLaughlin who is leading the Eseries with 973 points.
On April 25, Norris already showed his esports racing skills by winning his debut at the IndyCar iRacing Challenge.
You can watch the virtual Supercars action on supercars.com and on Supercar’s Facebook page. The races will also be broadcasted on Australian TV via Fox Sports.
