The last qualifiers of the Porsche Esports Carrera Cup in RaceRoom are just around the corner. From August 14 to August 16, esports racers will have the final chance to get their ticket to the playoff stage. In the big final, they will meet real-world Porsche Carrera Cup drivers to fight for a prize pool of €15,000.

Qualifying in the free-to-play simulation is open to everybody. In the upcoming session from Friday to Sunday, the contenders need to set their hottest lap at the Sachsenring. All drivers are required to use the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup as a mandatory car in all stages of the competition.

The eight fastest esports racers will advance to the semi-final on August 23. There, they will meet the top eight drivers from the previous three qualifying sessions which took place between May and July.

The 32-driver grid will compete in a double header of 30 minutes each to determine the 14 best drivers to make it to the big final.

Competition against real-world drivers

Besides the qualification for esports racers, an independent qualification process for the real-world Porsche Carrera Cup drivers is also underway. Two stages already took place at Nürburgring Nordschleife and Oschersleben.

The pilots will compete in a separate qualifier at the Sachsenring as well this weekend. However, the real-world drivers will also have another qualifying session from August 21-23 at Spa-Francorchamps.

The top six drivers in the field will join the esports racers in the final on September 5. The mixed field will compete in two 30-minute races. The winner takes home prize money of €7,000, the runner-up gets €5,000 and third place will earn €3,000.
