The rFactor 2 GT Pro Series 2020 earlier this year was a tremendous success. Back then, Formula 1 star Max Verstappen competed against some of the best esports drivers such as Rudy van Buren, Nikodem Wisniewski as well as the runner-up Kevin Siggy and the eventual winner of season one, Erhan Jajovski.

Verstappen was relegated after he finished in last place, but the competition goes on. While 23 competitors of season one will get another chance to fight for the title, seven drivers from the GT Challenge Series moved up and will compete in the Pro Series for the first time. On October 12, the 30 pro drivers will face each other in the first race of the new season on Sebring International Raceway. Races will be held every two weeks.
Every other week, the GT Challenge Series will take place. Qualifiers for the second league’s rFactor 2 GT competition begin on Wednesday, September 23. You can find the registration page for the competition right here. The five best drivers from the Challenge Series will make their way to the Pro Series at the end of the season, while places six to ten get the chance to relegate up to five pro drivers.
