After a long wait, offline events are back! 16 of the best TrackMania pros will meet onsite in Paris for three days of competitive action.

The first major TrackMania offline event since 2020 is taking place soon, with the 2022 TrackMania World Cup. Not only will the most renowned TrackMania pros be competing but it will also be open for anyone. All players can qualify to compete alongside the very best in open qualifiers from 11-12 June.
From 1-2 July, all competitors will compete in group stages in the world-famous Stade de France. Then the playoffs will take place on 3 July in the Stade de France Auditorium, which include two semi finals and the grand finale being played on stage in front of 315 spectators.
Who is Competing in the 2022 TrackMania World Cup?
The typical crop of TrackMania names will be competing in the World Cup. Fall 2021 season champion Thomas ‘Pac‘ Cole and Spring 2022 Grand League champion Patrick ‘Mudda‘ Radisich will be in attendance. As will the runner-ups from both seasons Sébastien ‘Affi‘ Affolter and Carl-Antoni ‘Carl Jr.‘ Cloutier.
Alongside all of them will be Brendan ‘Bren‘ Seve, who just won Wednesday’s Twitch Rivals event on TrackMania. There will also be Aurélien ‘Aurel‘ Bouard, Dennis ‘Massa‘ Lotze and Gwendal ‘Gwen‘ Duparc. The remaining eight competitors are yet to be confirmed, but will all compete for a share of a €15,000 prize pot.
Those eight spots will be filled through the Open Qualifiers from 11-12 June. Six maps will be available in the Grand League club on the game for anyone to take a swing at.
Venue Choice Puzzles Fans
However, despite the excitement about the return of in-person events, some fans are disgruntled with the choice of venue. Rocket League sees its first LAN esports event held the same weekend in London at the Copper Box Arena. That can hold up to 7,500 people, whereas the maximum number of spectators able to attend the TrackMania World Cup will be 315.
