Are you a fan of pure speed and want to take things to the maximum in Forza Horizon 5? We created a list of the ten quickest cars in the game in terms of their base speed.

Note: It is possible to alter the pace of a car by upgrading it. However, this list only focuses on the base speed of the Forza Horizon 5 car pool.

10. Rimac Concept Two

The Concept Two by Croatian auto manufacturer Rimac is an all-electric hypercar. Running a seperate motor for each wheel, the Concept Two starts and accelerates like a rocket. The car is able to go from zero to 300 km/h in 11.8 seconds and reach 415 km/h (258mph) at maximum.

In 2013, Italian manufacturer Ferrari revealed the “LaFerrari” as its first production car with a hybrid drivetrain consisting of a petrol as well as an electric engine. The system is similar to the KERS-system being used in Formula 1, hence Ferrari dubbed it “HY-KERS”. The LaFerrari can only be obtained via the auction house or by completing the Ferrari car collector challenge.

It was named after French racing driver Albert Divo and limited to 40 produced cars. The buying price in the real world was €5,000,000. In Forza Horizon 5, you can get it for 'just' 3,000,000 CR at the Autoshow.

This super sports car was designed for pure straight-line speed, and with a top speed of around 435 km/h (270mph), the Hennessey Venom GT is one hell of a quick car. However, drivers will have to make sacrifices. Due to its lower handling value, the Venom GT tends to understeer in corners.

And indeed, the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is incredibly fast with a top speed of 431km/h (268mph). Also, it is one of the fastest cars in the series in terms of acceleration. It is available on the Autoshow for 2,200,000 CR, via Wheelspins and the Auction House. You also obtain it by completing the “Like A Boss” accolade.

The Porsche Taycan Turbo S is another fully-electric car on this list. Even though it is only able to reach maximum speeds of up to 260 kmh (161mph) in the real word, the 'Welcome Pack' edition features a big upgrade and easily breaks the barrier of 400 km/h. However, with a weight of 2370kg it is also a heavy monster, which makes it difficult to keep the car on track in tight corners.

The Swedish company Koenigsegg is known for their hypercars which break record after record. The 2015 Koenigsegg One:1 is one of their most exotic vehicles. Combining a top-speed of 431 km/h (268mph) with an incredible amount of downforce, this car is made for high-speed races. While other straight-line speeders have to make sacrifices in corners, this beast is able to negotiate almost any corner. You can find it on the Autoshow for 2,800,000 CR. It is also a possible Wheelspin and can be purchased in the Auction House.

3. Koenigsegg Agera RS

The podium of this top ten list starts with another Koenigsegg, this time the Agera RS. The car has various components from the One:1 implemented. However, it has a bit more downforce and a higher top speed of 451 km/h (280mph). With such a powerful machine in your hands, you have to be careful on the throttle as the wheels tend to spin very easily. The Agera RS costs 2,000,000 CR at the Autoshow and is also available in Wheelspins and the Auction House.

2. Bugatti Chiron

The silver medal goes to the Bugatti Chiron with a top speed of around 430 km/h (267mph). Although this value is slightly lower than the Koenigsegg Agera RS’, the Chiron compensates for this weakness with its incredibly fast acceleration combined with high traction. “There are many more statistics to consider, but the best way to experience this milestone in automotive engineering is to drive it,” says the official car description and we can only agree.

1. Koenigsegg Jesko

Named after the founder of the company’s father, Jesko von Koenigsegg, this vehicle is the peak of engineering. The Jesko features a 1600 horsepower V8 engine and a chassis that has eradicated all the weaknesses previous models had, making the car light-weight with maximum aerodynamic efficiency. It also includes the so called “Light Speed Transmission” which requires only 20 to 30 milliseconds per shift. With all this power combined, the Koenigsegg Jesko is the only car in the game break the 300mph barrier and reach a top speed of 488 km/h (303mph).
