American Track Pack DLC Now Available in ACC

Assetto Corsa Competizione

The day is finally here. Watkins Glen, Indianapolis and Circuit of the Americas are now in Assetto Corsa Competizione as part of the American Track Pack.

ACC fans rejoice as the official game of the GT World Challenge has new content. The American Track Pack brings three new circuits to the game. These tracks are the former United States Grand Prix venues Watkins Glen and Indianapolis, and also the current venue Circuit of the Americas.

Our own ChampionJoe was invited to participate in an event previewing the tracks. He gave his thoughts on the new tracks in our latest video on YouTube.

Why These Tracks in the American Track Pack?

GT World Challenge is the premier GT3 racing series in the world. It has championships across Europe as well as North America, far eastern Asia and also Australia. ACC has featured tracks from the European championship, British GT and the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

The American Track Pack represents the first major venture outside of the content mainly consisting of European centralised circuits. However, the community already are wishing it was some different circuits.

The GT World Challenge America series this year races at the likes of Sonoma, NOLA and Virginia International Raceway. It also includes some popular circuits like Road America and Sebring. Plenty of fans are wondering why the Kunos selected the likes of Indy and COTA, since Watkins Glen is a firm favourite across the racing world.

Nevertheless, three new tracks that aren’t all universally acclaimed are better than no new tracks at all, as Kunos consistently deliver high quality laser scanned circuits for ACC. The American Track Pack DLC costs £14.99 on Steam where it’s currently exclusively available, and as ever the console players will have to wait a couple of months before being able to drive the three new tracks.
