I'd hope Kunos wouldn't make the errors Polyphony have. Repeated/multiple models of cars. Nothing here, shows me that they are. We see brand new cars, recent/more modern cars, and even new brands licensed. Returning classics too. These aren't negatives for any sim. I hate electric, but I'll take a real Alpine A290 over a fictional Vision-GT car. Icons like the F40 we can't drive IRL. A nice hot lap tool for EVO. There's zero point in Kunos not creating more modern physics systems. With some physics/tire improvements, expanded simulation systems, new data, and more accurate info from partners, previous tracks like Nord will be improved in EVO.

Balanced notions on my part, but not unrealistic. It won't be perfect sim, no sims are. The launch vid is just marketing. Unsure why people are just making random crap up and stressing. Kunos has not told Overtake they're abandoning race cars. EVO might have been in planning for 5+ years, but as a tiny developer, the game won't have seen constant work for 5 years. We all like extra cars/tracks, there's every chance it'll happen. Unless Kunos come out and say otherwise. All dev's need DLC to keep their accounts healthy.

Until Kunos tell us, nobody has a clue about cars, tracks, game direction, or features. Yet there's panic, and people are stressed. People deciding they can't buy EVO, based on zero words from Kunos. I'm pretty sure we are in safe hands with Overtake, and they are planning interviews with Marco etc. I honestly think for many, nothing has changed. You weren't buying EVO before, you still aren't now. You weren't ever EVO early access people either. Many use the absolutely perfect platform of AC/mods, right. You enjoy both with zero need to upgrade old PC's. So you'll just boot your AC/mod installs, and have fun like you always have. Isn't that the whole point here, to have fun.

Great start.

I hope for about the same type of content as AMS2/rF2: focus on race cars instead of road cars and lots of race tracks around the world. I hope that all the british tracks are included(all of rF2/AMS2 combined) and many others of course. The more high quality laserscanned tracks and race cars/prototypes/open wheelers the better. I hope that there are open wheelers too because it's not shown yet. I also hope for lots of historical content(cars/tracks).

It would be amazing if it includes some rally stages too. Because there's currently no good new rally sim, RBR/DR2 are getting old and WRC is not a proper sim.

So yes much wishes :) But if it comes with a small amount of content at launch I'm happy already if the VR implementation is perfect and the physics/tires/handling are great too. Because the graphics/sounds are probably great already, that's at least what I expect.

Edit: sys requirements are 100GB so there's probably a lot of content at launch !
NitroCross would be awesome.

.. sorry to be nitpicking but.. why does the car go left exiting the garage? shouldn't it go right at Imola, Nords, Brands Hatch? Or maybe it's just for cinematic purpose.

There's nothing due to blur, that shows any track branding to show it's one of the 3 tracks we know about. My guess is that it could be a question answered in a Kunos interview.

I was told on another forum that it is Brands Hatch T1. Which is reasonable, maybe they just put a ferris wheel there for fun.
Fun? You think just dropping a Ferris Wheel Willy Nilly is FUN? This is sim-racing damnit! We MUST have authenticity. I want the correct species of birds for that region flying overhead...insect life must be researched, and don't tell me they just felt like breaking my immersion by placing a freakin' ferris wheel where it don't belong!

So it seems I was right. Thanks for info. I watched few videos and it looks very similar to Suzuka except these fences on the right side. Anyway it was fun to take a part in a quiz:D

Please don't fill the game with track based cars! Put some in for interest, but stick mainly to road cars.
There isn't a decent sim with road cars other than AC1!
The best way I can explain/justify this is that I've never driven around wishing I was in a race car...but a supercar? Just a bog standard F40, that's all I'm asking for!
