First of all, there are old Hot Wheels favourites such as the Bone Shaker, Twin Mill and Rip Rod. These cars have previously appeared in other Hot Wheels games as well as other driving games like Rocket League and Forza Horizon.
There will also be some real-world cars, perhaps the most prominent being the Koenigsegg Jesko hypercar, the Honda S2000 and even small city-runabouts like the Mini Cooper S and Fiat 500. Other real-world cars to make the cut include some classic American cars such as the Ford Mustang, a 1969 Dodge Charger, and even a Humvee! At release, the game will feature toy versions of 15 real-world vehicles, alongside the Hot Wheels classics.
But most prominent are the vehicles that come from the world of cartoons and movies. You can drive the Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series, the DeLorean from Back to the Future, the Party Wagon from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Snoopy’s kennel from the Peanuts and KITT from Knight Rider. All in all, there are 66 toy cars which players will be able to choose from.
Hot Wheels Unleashed will release on 30 September for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC.
