Scouting upcoming talents such as Mick Schumacher
Formula 2 is the second highest class in single-seater motorsports where up-and-coming talents show off their skills to be scouted by the big racing teams. The cars are less powerful and less complex, but the drivers just as talented. Most of the F1 stars made their way through the F2 championship, such as current drivers Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell.
The real world 2020 season just came to an end last weekend with the final race at Bahrain, where Mick Schumacher was crowned the new F2 champion. To celebrate the championship, players can now replicate or even change up the season in-game.
The title now offers all 12 weekends, consisting of two races each. The first one is the Feature race where the starting grid depends on the drivers’ qualifying times. For the second race, the Sprint race, the top eight of the previous challenge have to proceed in a reverse-grid. All points across the two races get added up. Players can drive the 2020 cars in time trial, multiplayer and in the driver career mode.
