DIRT 5 is the next big racing game for players to look forward to this year. However, fans need to be patient since the original release date of October 9 has been postponed to November 6, 2020. The early access for the Amplified Edition starts on November 3.

Developer Codemasters also emphasized that players who ordered DIRT 5 for current-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, can upgrade to the next-generation version free of charge once it is released.

The new release dates:

  • Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC: November 6, 2020
  • Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5: Later in 2020
  • Google Stadia: Early 2021

The newest iteration of the DIRT series comes with a special feature: Playgrounds. Players can create tracks from scratch with a library of building materials and tools, such as ramps and fire hoops. If you want more information, you can check out our review of the Playgrounds feature.
