Codemasters has revealed that the long-awaited DIRT 5 is a launch title for the new Xbox consoles. On November 10, the game will be released together with the new Xbox Series.

Players can simply purchase DIRT 5 for the Xbox One on November 6 and upgrade to Series S/X for free.

After several months of waiting, Microsoft has finally revealed the release date for their new products, as well as the prices. The next generation series will come in two editions: the Xbox Series X for $499 and a smaller version, the Xbox Series S for $299.

So far, no upcoming release dates for racing games have been announced. However, the console will definitely feature some top titles that are coming some day in the future, such as WRC 9 or new Forza versions.

Nearly ready on all consoles

Players don’t have to purchase the newest Xbox just to get their hands on DIRT 5. The game will also be available for current generation consoles. Codemasters had to once again push back the release, but are now aiming for November 6 as the official date for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

Google Stadia users will be able to buy the game in early 2021, but the official release date for the PlayStation 5 is still unknown.
