DIRT 5 is now available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One for the cost of $59.99. Right before the official launch, Codemasters released a patch for the game, that mainly fixes performance issues. The patch came out for the PC version of DIRT 5. Console players will have to wait another “few days” until the issues get fixed.

The PC patch 1.04 includes improvements to FPS, rain effects and gameplay in general. Codemasters also added a V-Sync option and fixed multiple crashes. At the same time, patch 1.03 was released for Xbox One. The update contains more fixes for problems that seem to be exclusive to the Xbox version. You can find the detailed patch notes here.

XBOX SERIES X REVIEWS: POWERFUL, BUT IS IT ENOUGH?

The early-access version of DIRT 5 has been available for players who pre-ordered the game since November 3. The game launched officially on Friday. The latest game by Codemasters is a must-buy for off-road fans. However, if you want to play the game on PlayStation 4, it could be worth it to wait for the patch to roll out on the platform as well.

DIRT 5 will also come to the next-gen consoles Xbox Series X (release on November 10) and PlayStation 5 (release on November 19).
