After its success in 2021, the Dream Team Series powered by OverTake is returning in 2022. The YouTube series, which pits racing game content creators against both one another and members of the community, will take on a somewhat different look compared to last year.
A total of 14 content creators are taking part in Dream Team Series 2, as opposed to the 10 who participated last year. Furthermore, the arena of battle has changed; the series will now make use of Assetto Corsa with mods, rather than the F1 games. This means that there will be more variety across the four rounds.
What is the Dream Team Series 2 powered by OverTake?
As mentioned above, the competition will be held on Assetto Corsa. Community members will be selected by their favourite creators to race alongside them for glory. As in 2021, the community drivers will compete for the top spot in the Community Standings. Meanwhile the creators will fight for the Creator Standings championship. Each of the four rounds, which will air on 23 November, 30 November, 14 December, and finally 21 December, will feature a different motorsport discipline. Thanks to the plethora of community-made mods available on Assetto Corsa, the Dream Team Series 2 will feature a wide variety of cars. From touring cars, to hillclimbs, to rallycross, the Dream Team Series 2 demands versatility from its competitors.
