In the video, League of Legends champion Akali presents what appears to be her own Panigale V4. The bike as it is shown does not have its standard livery, but an exclusive, fluorescent exterior featuring the K/DA logo. Akali, with her title Rogue Assassin, and the Panigale V4 match as a fast and dangerous duo that has already received a huge amount of positive feedback on Twitter and YouTube.
About the bike
The Panigale V4 first emerged on the market in 2018. It was meant as the starting point for all subsequent Ducati Superbikes to derive from. That said, it is a bike aimed at the future of racing more than anything else. However, it can not only be driven competitively as its design – featuring a dry clutch – still provides safe and easy handling.
With a total of 221 horsepower, the Panigale V4 is still a beast on the racing track and not to be underestimated. Besides that, the bike itself is a sight to behold – with or without the K/DA livery. Ducati’s aim was for the model to evoke “style, sophistication, performance” and it therefore seems only appropriate that if any model is featured in the new LoL music video, it is the Panigale V4.
