What is better than racing some laps and then receiving some gifts to pimp your liveries? After a short delay, the second season of the Podium Pass is now live and available in-game. There is a total of 30 additional levels to unlock by completing special tasks and challenges. The Pass includes quests such as “Complete 15 clean laps at Vietnam” or “In My Team, upgrade a total of 3 items in Aerodynamics Department”. Players then receive special items and upgrades to their Podium Pass once they achieve the goal of the challenges.
The Podium Pass is split in two versions: a free tier and a VIP pass. The latter has to be purchased with the in-game currency Pitcoins and offers some exclusive items which can only be acquired with this pass.
The Podium Pass content
In the second season of the Podium Pass, rewards follow two major themes: the “We Race As One” slogan with rainbow design to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as “End Racism” which drivers started to wear in solidarity with the most recent Black Lives Matter protests. Both sets include a special helmet, gloves, race suit and livery and are available in the free tiers.
As well as the two main attractions, there will also be more poses and podium emotes available. If you want more information on the F1 2020 Podium Pass, you can head over to the official page of F1 2020 here.
