At long last, Fanatec has released its 2024 Black Friday deals. If you are a Fanatec fan or looking to upgrade, the seven days of sales start November 26th. Additionally, we are hosting a Fanatec hardware giveaway from December 1 to 7!

Throughout the flurry of Black Friday deals, Fanatec had been mysteriously quiet thus far, keeping its cards close to their chest. However, like last year, the deals they now announced are spread over seven days and include everything from a CSL DD bundle to the brand-new ClubSport V2 Handbrake.

2024 Fanatec Black Friday Deals

Fanatec was one of the last Sim Racing brands to announce its Black Friday deals, so its sim racers have been eagerly awaiting the incoming discounts. Here is a full rundown of what the German brand is offering this year!

Last year, Fanatec had a similar sale with seven days of deals. However, once users started buying their products on sale, the stock very quickly ran dry, and the logistical side of the operation fell pretty flat. There has been assurance from within the company that new measures have been put in place to prevent a repeat of last year.

I wonder if that handbrake can have the arm switched around like in the V1.5 as that's the only reason I would get any Fanatec gear lol

Pretty disappointing 'discounts' - looks more like clearing old stock than genuine offers tbh. Carbon knob kit? PSU? Old rims? Whoopee.
The inverted pedals are the best deal - but they were vastly overpriced to start with, and there are now better options at this price point.
And if you're not in the EU then adding shipping plus 20% import fees makes even the sale prices look dear.
Oh well, I didn't have any money anyway, so probably for the best :)

Let's see, Stock CS v2.5 wheel costs $339.95 US.
LE RedBull V2.5 is $649.95.
So factoring the difference in paddle shifter price (CS paddles $99.95 vs Podium paddles $179.95) we are looking at $419.95 ($339.95 + $80.00 difference in paddle shifter).
So we are paying a $230.00 premium for essentially a CS V2.5 wheel with podium shifter paddles, Some different color button caps and a Oracle/RedBull sticker............
Hard pass!

(edit) Wait, it might also come with the QR2 Pro QR........ So maybe add another $100.00 to the $419.95, so $519.95.
Still a $130.00 price premium for standard V2.5 wheel with different color button caps and a Oracle/RedBull sticker.

Damn, now I have to wait until I find out what I'm going to win in the give-a-way before buying the same thing., I won't need two whatevers,

But wait... I might not win and then have to pay full price because the sale is over.
Double damn!

Ah well, at least I'll still have my sanity.....
muuuuhahaha, muuhahahaha, muuuhahahahaha, muuuh..... nursie

This looks to be the most pointless sale ever. I've just been on their website and literally nearly everything is sold out anyway.

That would have been my next question, do they even have anything to sell?

I dont know ANYTHING about their business dealings other than what ive skimmed over on OT, but to my ignorant American brain it looks like theyre selling off some remaining bits before making a BIG change.

Big change would be Corsair getting Fanatec product in retail stores (ie - Microcenter, BestBuy, Newegg, etc.).
I am also sure Corsair is working on leveraging their extensive distribution network to revamp Fanatec's miserable out sourced warehousing/shipping model. Hopefully :)

I would think it is in Corsair's best interests to not let the fiasco of last year's BF sale to repeat itself. I don't think Fanatec's rep could take it.
I am sure Corsair has brought all of Fanatec's mfg partners in China current on payment and have assured them they will get paid going forward.
Last year's fiasco was because their website allowed over selling of product and right at the time the mfgs in China were starting to refuse to produce or ship Fanatec's product for lack of payment.
It sucks you still haven't got your cs v2.5 order resolved by now but probably because since it was a limited edition product, getting another run of them made is hugely expensive and a pain for them. Still sucks though.

Nice, been waiting and what I want is in the sale - don't know what others think but as a recent buyer in to the Fanatec eco system (August) starting with their new QR2 standard from the off I've had no issues whatsoever and great quality at a great price! Heavy use, runs cool, and happy.

From what I've seen online elsewhere (Danny Lee Youtube video) the Clubsport Handbrake v1.5 is currently discounted to $99.95 (offer active right now) but will receive a further reduction to $69.95 on the stated BF date.

I can confirm that current price online at Fanatec right now, and the 48% discount on its usual RRP of $130 would suggest the second deeper sale price to be correct.

Still waiting for my Formula V2.5 wheel from last years black friday sale.

Then why does the website say "Available" and "Ready to Ship" :O_o:

I don't think CSP Hub is worth the money either.

Am I reading this correctly? Why would you give out Fanatec gear, or any sim racing gear, to anyone who may not even be in that respective ecosystem? Shouldn't it be an "opt-in" lottery for those who have Fanatec gear at the very least?

It's not like giving away a PC/GPU or even a wheelbase, where it's instantly plug-and-play - imagine if a winner has a G29 or a Moza R5 and he randomly "wins" a Fanatec Podium Button Box. It does nothing for that person whatsoever, other than the ability to sell it immediately.

Obviously pulling my name out of the running by criticizing (basic statistics say I wasn't going to win anyway), but I feel this is a silly way of running a promotion like this - and potential winners should have a higher threshold for entry than just "visiting" the site and the gear should ideally be going to people who actually are Fanatec users.

My two cents.

This selective discounting is crap. None of the selected sale items interest me at all. Why can't they do a 20% off website deal so we can all enjoy the discounts?
