Forza Horizon 5 will be honouring Ken Block with more free content arriving on 2 March. This was announced via the official website and through an in-game message. This further extends the content Turn 10 studios and the Forza community have been creating to honour the rally driver who passed away on 2 January.
Forza Horizon 5 Ken Block Content
The Ken Block tribute content will arrive alongside the “Horizon Wilds Takeover” update and include the following items:
- a special player badge featuring #43
- Ken Block-inspired accolades
- Hoonigan cars features in festival playlist events
- Forza Link catchphrase: “GO FAST RISK EVERY THANG”
- a seasonal championship with the returning 2016 Hoonigan GYMKHANA 9 Ford Focus RS RX reward car.
According to the official Twitter account of Forza Horizon 5, the developers are also working on a tribute video for Ken Block. Fans have been asked to send in Ken Block or Hoonigan related in-game photos, clips or videos for the tribute by using the hashtag #ForzaKB. The video will be shown in the next Forza Monthly livestream in February.
A few days ago, developer Playground Games started gifting Forza Horizon 5 players a free 1965 Ford ‘Hoonicorn’ Mustang car, as well as a Ken Block race suit and helmet.
Ken Block was an American rally driver who formed the Hoonigan Racing Division in 2010. He also was well-known for his gymkhana videos on YouTube. His Hoonigan-themed cars have been part of the Forza games since Forza Horizon 3.
