The Xbox Game Pass provides unlimited access to a game library for one monthly fee. The beauty of this is that it allows players to try out games without having to purchase them. It features all the most popular games – so Forza Motorsport 7 was a glaring omission. After years of waiting, Microsoft is finally fulfilling their fans’ wishes.
A blast from the past
The Forza series has been Microsoft’s key racing simulation franchise for years now. Whereas Forza Horizon is preferred by those who seek an arcade experience, Forza Motorsport 7 definitely targets the simulation crowd. To ensure an immersive experience, Microsoft says that Forza Motorsport 7 runs up to 60fps in native 4K resolution on both PC and console, which should really bring those graphics to life.
Forza Motorsport 7 was developed by Turn 10 Studios and published by Microsoft Studios, serving as the tenth edition in the popular Forza series. Upon its October 2017 release on Xbox One and PC, critics reacted favorably. Readers of Game Informer voted it “Best Racing Game” of the year, while IGN awarded it a very respectable 9.2/10. It remains to be seen whether this new release will cause similar waves.
