6.45 PM CEST – more indie games at gamescom: Awesome Indies
If you can’t get enough of indie games, you should tune in to gamescom now, gamescom’s content and video hub, in this moment. There, the gamescom: Awesome Indies show will kick off at 7 PM CEST. If you don’t know what gamescom now is and how to access it, check out our viewer guide:
The broadcast produced by IGN is going to celebrate indie games with in-game showcases, developer spotlights and awards. Hosts of the show are Tom Marks, Michael Swain and Brian Altano.
That also concludes our liveticker for today. Come back tomorrow for the last day of gamescom, when we also get to know which game gets the gamescom award for “Best Racing Game”. See you then!
4.45 PM CEST – Play 185 indie games from home
gamescom is all about visiting booths and trying out new games. Even though the fair takes place digitally this year, you can still do this! Visit Indie Arena Booth to join an online multiplayer game in which you discover 100.000 square meters of digital gamescom fair grounds. Play 185 games from 55 countries for free and get in touch with the developers. Find more information on Indie Arena Booth in our article:
Of course, there is also a racing game to test. In Can’t Drive This, one player takes control of a monster truck while the other one is responsible for building the track. Going too slow will let the car explode but driving off the track limits also ends the game. Friendships might be put to the test by the puzzle racer.
We think this is a great party game which you should definitely try out yourself by visiting Indie Arena Booth.
