We’re less than a month away from the release of F1 Manager 23 and you can try it out this weekend at Silverstone. Here’s all you need to know.
Last year, Frontier Developments introduced the return of the Formula One themed manager game. F1 Manager 22 released at the end of Summer 2022 and certainly attracted a great deal of hype in its first few weeks. However, that interest soon dropped away.
The series continues this year with F1 Manager 23 which is bound for release on 31 July. With less than a month until it hits shelves, more and more information is coming out relating to the game. New features, immersive graphics and better game mechanics are all part of the new title. This weekend, fans will be able to get up close and personal with the new game as the team will be attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Anyone with a General Admission ticket to this weekend’s Silverstone F1 event will get the chance to try out the game. In the Fanzone, alongside simulator setups, bars and restaurants will be the F1 Manager stand. Throughout the weekend, fans of the series will get an early preview of what is in store when the full game comes out in just four weeks.
Elsewhere, Frontier is teaming up with the Williams Racing team to provide more fans with a preview of the title. Throughout the week leading up to the British GP, a pop-up shop in London will show off the Williams team’s history and sell its merchandise. Through this partnership, fans can visit this shop in Piccadilly Circus and get their hands on F1 Manager 23 whilst picking their latest F1-themed cap.
F1 Manager 23 Game Details
Leading up to the game’s launch, Frontier Developments has been giving us small doses of information on the title. These come in the form of live streams in which the team showcases a selection of headlining features.
So far, the development team has shown off a new gameplay mode, Race Replay in which players will re-enact real-world races. We also saw a number of UI refreshments and the all-new Helmet Cam feature.
That’s not all the information we are getting however. Tomorrow, Tuesday 4 July, Frontier is hitting the airwaves once again to ramp up excitement for its upcoming title. This time around, the team will show off a number of key elements to the game.
According to a blog post by the developers, we will find out more about AI improvements, Sprint weekend management and the more in-depth car part development system. These are all crucial pieces of the F1 puzzle. But they were either lacking in the previous title or simply skimmed the surface of what is possible. After tomorrow’s livestream at 16:00BST, we should have more reason for excitement surrounding the title.
