The game was published by Electronic Arts in 2017 and created by Swedish developer studio Ghost Games. It received mixed reviews from the virtual racing scene, mainly because it failed to bring anything new to the Need for Speed franchise.
However, if you are looking for an open-world casual racing game, you might as well try out this one for free. If you download Need for Speed Payback via PlayStation Plus, you will be able to play the game for the duration of your subscription.
New NFS game coming in November
The game’s addition to the PS Plus lineup comes along with the announcement of Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, which is set to be released on November 6.
