Leaked trailer teases a possible feature for PlayStation users.

A new trailer will unveil a bunch of new information on DiRT 5. This was announced via the official Twitter account of the game. The preview is about to go live on July 15 at 3 PM CEST.

In the off-road racing franchise, players are able to compete in rallycross, ice racing, stadium super trucks and off-road buggies.
According to the Twitter announcement, the trailer will provide the fans information on new game modes, cars, and locations of the game. It also promises the return of a “Dirt favorite”.
Trailer leak heats rumors
The trailer had already been leaked on the official PlayStation YouTube channel several days before the announcement. The video was removed but unconfirmed information on its content remains buzzing through the internet.
Many platforms report that there will be possibly a free update from the PS4 to the PS5 version. According to the news portals, this information was displayed in the description of the video.

Other rumors say that game modes from older Dirt titles will celebrate a comeback in the new game. Pushsquare reports that “Ultra Cross, Time Trial, Land Rush, Rally Raid and Ice Breaker” were shown in the trailer. Furthermore, the PlayStation news outlet states that the game mode Gymkhana will return to the series. In this game mode, players are required to pull off driving manoeuver like drifts to score points.
Whether or not this is the promised “Dirt favorite” to return remains unclear. DiRT 5 will be released on October 9, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. A PS5, Xbox Series X and Stadia Version will be released later.
