rFactor 2 Online: Week 5 Schedule

rFactor 2 Online hits week 5 with one of the strongest catalogues of competitive events Studio 397 has released so far.

With the loss of the British Touring Car Championship license, both of the touring car events have been stripped of the BTCC titling. The loss of the TOCA license is a big hit for rFactor 2, but the service’s active player count does not seem to have taken a hit as a consequence.

rFactor 2 Online Week 5 Schedule: Daily Races

The new weekly beginner races are a great mix. Whilst still the same three car classes, a new track in the form of Lime Rock Park is sure to spice up the Radical event. With competitive racing all but guaranteed across these three great classes, make sure to get out on track and experience it for yourself.

Radical Rookies

Intermediate Races – Every 2 Hours

The intermediate races are getting more and more popular as the weeks progress. The Indycar series at Spa will be especially popular, but the Ferrari challenge at Brands Hatch is certainly the more challenging option.

In a similar tone to the intermediate races, the advanced races are slowly but surely filling out more consistent races as time progresses and players earn the Gold safety rating. The touring cars will almost definitely be a popular choice on the infamous Nurburgring Sprint track.

Week 5’s special events take place at the lesser-known, but extremely fast Thruxton as well as the technical Long Beach GP circuit. The same two-car classes are used again, but the variety in track type is good to see.
