This month, we learnt that the next edition in Milestone’s official MotoGP game franchise will release in June. With this year’s championship getting off to an exciting start in the first couple of races, anticipation for the game is as high as ever.
But, while you’re waiting for MotoGP 23, this week is the perfect opportunity to get your hands on last year’s edition. MotoGP 22 is currently on sale on Steam for a whopping 75% off. At that price, it is sure to fill the bike racing void in your life.
MotoGP 22 or Wait for 23?
MotoGP 23 is set to introduce dynamic weather and flag-to-flag regulations. But the 2022 version of the game features a detailed weather system in its own right. It may not be capable of recreating the mid-race drama of pitting for a new bike on wet tyres. However, it does provide great immersion in wet weather racing.
The 2022 MotoGP game features all the bikes, tracks, riders and teams of the premier class in bike racing. The Moto2 and Moto3 classes also feature heavily in the game and are well utilised in the career mode which sees plenty of progression.
A special game mode focuses on the infamous 2009 season. Players can complete 17 chapters featuring narration from Mark Neale and watch Rossi, Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Stoner go head-to-head for the title.
Now available on sale on Steam for just £9.99/€12.49, MotoGP 22 is at a bargain price all week. Furthermore, the pair of DLC packs are also on sale. The Special Suits pack drops from its regular price of £0.79/€0.99 to £0.39/€0.49. This includes a pair of new suit designs to use in-game. The VIP Multiplier Pack which gives players a reputation points boost in the career drops to £0.99/€1.24 from £3.99/€4.99.
