The long awaited latest instalment in the Grand Theft Auto series has finally been revealed, and the GTA 6 trailer had something in store for car fans as well. Here’s which ones have we spotted.
It has been a long time coming, but after a decade of waiting, Rockstar Games have finally given us a glimpse at GTA 6. Set for a 2025 release, the game is set in Vice City and will follow protagonists Lucia and Jason.
Of course, we are interested in the cars. Back in November 2021, we highlighted the work done by Adam ‘Broughy1322‘ Brough with him testing every vehicle in GTA 5. There were plenty of those in the trailer, the title of the games do of course pertain to the unlawful taking of a vehicle after all.
With the trailer releasing early, we have quickly assessed the selection of vehicles in this short teaser. Plenty of old favourites from the previous game appear, and a few more as well. Here are the cars we spotted in the GTA 6 trailer.
GTA 6 Cars
One of the first close up shots in the trailer sees Lucia standing up inside a car. That car seems to resemble the Pegassi Zorrusso, which is a mix of an Italdesign ZeroUno Duerta with some aspects of a few Lamborghini cars, like the Aventador. In front of them is a silver-coloured supercar, which looks like the Grotti Furia.
The Furia is based primarily on the Pininfarina Battista with elements taken from a bunch of Ferrari cars. Plus, it has dihedral synchro-helix actuation doors, which are commonplace on a lot of Koenigsegg cars.
Then of course, there is the shot we used for the header. It shows even more cars from GTA 5 that we have come to love. There is the Pfister Comet S2 Cabrio (Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet 992), Grotti Carbonizzare (Ferrari F12berlinetta & Aston Martin V12 Zagato), Invetero Coquette D10 (Corvette C8) and Grotti Cheetah Classic (Ferrari Testarossa). Those are just the parked cars.
Looking to the left, you can find the Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire and Buffalo STX which are based on the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon and the 2015 Charger. There is also a Benefactor Schafter which resembles the likes of the Mercedes E-Class W212 and CL-Class C216.
But we come to our first mystery car. A dark green car that looks like the Lamborghini Revuelto is seen also driving in that same shot. This car is not in GTA 5, there is a new update set to release potentially next week so it could be added. But we do not know what its in-game name is as of now.
Aside from the performance and luxury cars, there are motoring subcultures in the trailer. Plenty of lowriders are seen, including the Willard Faction Custom Donk which is essentially a Buick Regal with oversized wheels. Also in that same shot seeming a bit out of place, the Enus Jubilee which is the Rolls Royce SUV known as the Cullinan.
Another motoring subculture comes in the form of the Thrillbilly Mud Club, a bunch of off roading driving enthusiasts. In the background, there is a monster truck of sorts which closely resembles the Liberator. Except it has a pickup style rear, whilst the Liberator in GTA 5 had an enclosed rear.
Towards the end of the trailer, there is a car that resembles the Chrysler 300C. In GTA 4, the car was known as the Schyster PMP 600; however, the car in the trailer has a 700 badge. We can only assume that this car will be known as the PMP 700 and will be a more up-to-date version of the 300C.
Then right at the end, the two protagonists are racing away from a gun store in a Vapid Tulip, based predominantly on the 1972 Chevelle Malibu. There are some new cars in the background, like an Audi-looking SUV and one that even resembles a Mercedes G-Class, albeit a bit different from the Benefactor Dubsta in GTA 5.
The Tulip could very well be Jason’s own car, however it may just be one that they stole since the registration of the car could lead straight back to them. All GTA protagonists do get their own cars though, like Michael from GTA 5 had an Obey Tailgater (Audi A6).
A Race Track in GTA 6?
One last little detail for all you racing fans. There have been various leaks for the game (some bigger than others), one of which is of what may be the map for the game. It is bigger in size than GTA 5‘s map, and whilst not been confirmed by Rockstar, it is the most commonly referred to as being the map.
On there is a racetrack that has been labelled Vice Raceway. It is a relatively simple layout, imagine asking a child to draw a long-necked dinosaur. We will not be showing the images but they are easily found online if you search ‘GTA 6 map’. The racing community will be hosting many races there, for sure!
If you want to know more about GTA 6 cars, we can not recommend Broughy1322 more. As we already mentioned, the go-to guy for everything GTA racing related.
