The official homepage of GT Sports announced a new update on Tuesday. However, the snippet news does not reveal much information on what content we are going to get. GT flagged it as Server Maintenance Notice but added there will also be a game update after maintenance. They also underlined that during the following times, the online servers will not be available:
Day and Time
June 4th, 2020, 04:00 – 06:00 UTC
June 4th, 2020, 21:00 – 23:00 PDT
* The above time is subject to change.
It is questionable whether we will actually receive major content updates such as new cars or circuits, since the last content update launched only about two weeks ago. The 1.59 update brought the new Mazda RX-Vision GT3 Concept into the game, as well as two competitions and new rounds for GT League.
With the addition of the new Mazda, GT Sport reached another milestone. 336 cars are now available in the game – which is twice as much as the game had at launch in 2017.
