1440p upgrade worth it ?

Hi All

I'm on triple 1080p (2 TN and 1 IPS) 144hz and just installed SOL 2.0.

Just wanted people's thoughts if it is worth upgrading to 1440p or not ??

Is it going to be a "OMG where have you been all my life moment" ... or more like "Yeh its nice and better but fundamentally its not all that different"

For AC? Idk, my kid has 1080 and I have 1440. I honestly think his looks better. He has a 970 I have 2 2080 tis. His still looks better.. Maybe its due to my 32" vs his 28". Im going to triples soon and Im pretty sure im going back to 1080p.

I still need to look into the differences in panels but im pretty set on this.

Its funny but i expierienced it also - a upgrade was a downgrade in AC

Earlier i was on a 27" Full HD screen and run AC downsampled in 2k.Than i switched to 34" Ultrawide and playing in nativ resolution.

While running it in Ultrawide is of course much greater, graphicswise AC looked much better before.

Btw. Its the only game i experience that. So i would switch anytime again.
But a tripple is slightly another thing.

It's usually things like the DPI eg. pixel density that can make things look better / worse.

32" is probably a touch too big for 1440p. I have a 32" 16:9 1440p monitor and I am messing around with DSR (Nvidia) eg. super resolution to see if that smartens things up a bit. I'm running 1.2x to 1.5x and trying to find the best smoothing percentage. Not had enough time to conclude much.
