Welcome to the RD Racing Club.

So again something new. Not a multiclass but two cars that should have fairly equal performance although one is FWD and the other RWD.
Let's find out on in the Algarve on the beautiful circuit at Portimao.

Fuel consumption is set at 25% to prevent a forced pitstop for the Abarth.

So join us for another exciting race and:

Sign up here (Password: same as last week, otherwise send a PM to @Interslice and he will send you a reply with it.):

It's important that you also join us during the event on Discord for additional information and instructions. Link is below.

Especially the new and inexperienced drivers are recommended to participate. There are a lot of learning opportunities but without the intensity and stress of the GT3/4 cars or the endurance multiclass cars. It's also good step up for those kind of events.

In with the Mazda of course

Though I´m kicked from the practice server because checksum failure.
The car worked yesterday in Ahvenisto ( sort of at least) and the track is freshly installed from the download tab in the S.GP site??

Help please Carsten

Edith:
Seems to be the track, it happens with both the cars.

BTW, note to all the drivers who like the "slip n slide" like me ( A.K.A sloppy drivers)
Portimao is a bit narrow minded about track limits, so keep it from the green stuff.

MFG Carsten

Can't wait for this one, this is an awesome track. Signed up with the Abarth, I don't think I've raced in a FWD but I'll try it out for a few hours over the weekend to see how I get on with it!

Any joy Carsten, same here , checksum.:(

Had the same thought Ernie, and similar test results. Tried the Abarth first, but I think the rwd of the mx5 plays nicer here with my driving style and the gentle wide elevation.

Now the following week at Bathurst, it's fwd all the way for me. Love going down the mountain with the car "pulling" you around those turns :). Plus that long back straight looks like a nice spot to pass some mazdas :D

Working on it Han, so far it is much better, but as I can guess Alan and Carsten to name just two, lap times, the Abarth is not going to be the giant killer I was hoping for.
At the moment, I am doing my best to not get lapped.:(
I think even Chris’s may “not” find it easy to beat those Rotters in Mazda’s.
:O_o:
