AC and Dizziness

I wonder if others have experienced this issue and what they did to remedy the problem.

Just after the Holidays I had to take a break from Sim Racing (I only use AC) because of a death in the family. When I came back to it, I found that after about five minutes of driving, I began to experience dizziness and the onset of nausea. I have tried turning off "NeckFX" as well as changing my FOV. Nothing seems to help. My allergies are also going off and I'm beginning to think this might be an inner ear problem.

This sounds like me. After 30++ years of being allergy/sinus problem free I was nearly incapacitated by a sudden onset of allergy/sinus/inner ear problems.
Ive been better for about a year now but so many things can trigger it, including Assetto. I think it may be the way I tilt my head to look at the monitor. Stress will trigger it also, you mentioned a death in the family. If it is inner ear related, there are exercises you can do to minimize it. Good luck.

Also another thing I have done to mitigate any nausea was to upgrade the monitor from 60hz to 120hz or higher. I have one weak eye, and that eye picks up any flickering going on from lower refresh rates. It never bothered me until I approached ~40 yrs, then I couldn't really play anything until I changed monitors... It made me super ill before. Hope you can find a solution to the issue that is causing it.

Longshot but have you checked the G force emulation settings? Had similar issue recently, I could swear that after updating CSP etc after a while being off, i noticed the inside cam shake way too much and distracting me. After some experimenting i noticed that G-force sliders were set to 130% or something and made me see whole car's cockpit flying around on the screen. Reduced that to 50% and its perfect again. Try reducing/disabling this and also speed shake percentage and see if any better?

I have dizziness if any sync (vsync or gsync) is active, even on my ex-G7 (1440p-240Hz monitor) so i never use those on any game. I just limited my FPS to under monitor Hz and i'm fine. 240Hz monitor i had limited > 233FPS.

Important Input-lag (Wheel+Pedals+Gears <> PC <> Monitor) is also slightly decreased without any sync.

Currently 4K-144Hz monitor and 140 limited FPS on all games > No dizzines or any problems with my brains on those settings.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it next time I'm in AC.
