Hi, I'm just looking at AC since i'm upgrading my hardware. i have mostly run iracing to this point but wanted to see how other sims compare...

My question is there a datamart where you can compare your data to someone who's been quicker at the track/car etc? I feel like iracing has a lot of good benefit with different ways to use that and see how you can improve...

Also is there any sort of unified championships/leagues that you can see results of past races etc. or is it mostly just random pickup multiplayer matches?

As an non-iracing user, what type of data are you looking for?
Most leagues has this type of stats after the race: http://simresults.net/180422-7PN

When it comes to racing, drop-in-lobby, drop in SRS (sim racing systems) with rating and league racing like here at RD and other places are some alternatives, and of course against the AI.

As an non-iracing user, what type of data are you looking for?

Race results are good just something to keep track of, but i was thinking more of the actual telemetry. I heard that AC uses AiM or similar software, and if so is it possible to find any good data from top drivers to overlay yours with?

I haven't spend much time on AC yet but some series look like a lot of fun, like the F3 that I see going on this website looks great. Just something to switch it up with iRacing every now and then

Yes, there is AiM logs, or an plugin for Motec. Unless shared, other drivers data is not available.
In league teams share of data is common, using Motec has the benefit you can use it for rF2, AMS as well.

Yes, the "smörgåsbord" of all current sims are fantastic and they all bring something to the table.
