Assetto Corsa doesn't run in 64 bits

Hello everyone!

I reinstalled Assetto Corsa in my computer, which meets the minimal requirements with some margin, but, when trying to launch a session (by the original launcher or Content Manager), the game loads everything, and even let's me see the car animation, but some seconds later closes everything and goes back to the selection menu. The game only starts when I force it to use 32 bits.

I verified the files integrity in various occasions and found no errors, I don't have mods (literally just installed it from scratch), I installed every vcredist and dotnet and everything, with no results.

The only difference between my first instalation (some months ago) and this one is that I went from a monitor to a TV, so I don't know if the change of resolution is doing soomething to the files, and not allowing them to start up.

All my logs are in this drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Nx6k7H1dTUbsm7v5FaukKXa9A0DJU0wG?usp=sharing
I also attached them to the post.

If you need any other file, tell me so and I'll uplode them.

Thanks in advance!

AC engine is unfortunately 32bit (hence all the restrictions in tracks and physics etc etc) so its normal.
maybe previously it just started in 32bits and you didnt know about it but now Windows tries to force it in 64bit?

it's been a long time but these look wrong in your video configuration:

[CUBEMAP]
SIZE=0
FACES_PER_FRAME=0
FARPLANE=500

[MIRROR]
SIZE=0
HQ=0

SIZE=0 should be pretty wrong.

Delete your Documents/Assetto Corsa/cfg/video.ini and restart. it should create a new good one.

Don't worry. After all, it had nothing to do with the screen. I modified a generic gamepad to act as an h shifter. Its vibration drivers where causing all the trouble. Thanks anyway for your recommendation!

First you need to download steam.api64.dll and steam.api.dll both 32 and 64 bit versions from google...copy the steam api64.dll to system 32 folder in c drive and steam api.dll(32 bit) to syswow64 folder in c drive...then restart your pc... i tried all method but doesn't worked...but when i used this method it worked for me... the m folder. main thing is 64 bit file goes to system32 and 32 bit file goes to syswow64..

On a 64bit version of Windows, the default folder for 32bit DLL-files is C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ , and for 64bit dll-files C:\Windows\System32\ .

Make sure to overwrite any existing files (but make a backup copy of the original file).

Guys I've tried all this and I'm still getting the error. Game will not load in 64bit. 32 is fine All my other games are fine. I even did a vanilla install in a new folder... same problem.

Is there maybe a program running in the windows background causing this:?
If I have Fraps running in the background Assetto Corsa will not run from Content Manager

I may have a different perspective on this, and I could be wrong, but what if the resolution or refresh rate chosen isn't compatible with the TV? I experience similar issues because my screen does not support 1440.
