Assetto Corsa loads normally, but then doesn't show anything except for a black screen and the pit configuration. Any suggestions on what to do?

just restarting the game doesn't help, it just does the same thing
If restart AC doesn't fix I would try Steam verify files and also make sure gfx card drivers are up to date.
both i've tried, ive installed latest amd graphic drivers, and and tried vertifying files. nothing changed, and same thing shows.
even reinstalling the game didn't help
Is this just vanilla AC or you using CM?
Made any recent changes to video modes or CSP or SoL? Try rolling back to an older known working version of csp maybe? Idk, kind of at a loss.
I know CM has some log ifles it keeps. Might be a clue in there.
Also, sidebar but I know that AMD has had some challenges around their gfx drivers. Maybe try rolling back to one that's a couple points back, maybe known good. Sometimes the absolute latest carry bugs as yet unseen.

using cm to launch the game, but vanila doesn't work either
ok so it's something with the post processing filters, turning it off makes the game work
Glad you figured it out. Maybe that PP filter got corrupted or didn't install properly. Had you updated or installed any new filters?
Try some other filters or try reinstalling the one or using a new (simple) one. Sometimes troubleshooting comes down to simple trial and error..

nope i just turned it off, played ac for 5 min, then turned it on again and everything works

I play in VR and ever since i started using VR the game does what your saying when i try to use my monitor...i have it set to render on a single screen also....only reason i want to use monitor is so i can view replays and make edits
