If space does not worry this is how I keep backup in event I needed or wanted to replace rF2. When you reinstall rF2 it will do the base files then start to download packages
when it does close rF2, copy the saved folder and file into workshop folder
start rF2 it will finish downloading the first pack only then it will install the rest
in my case 105GB
1. I copy my entire workshop folder D:\STEAM\steamapps\workshop\content\365960
as well you need the file appworkshop_365960.acf ( in workshop folder )
= 105GB
2. Using Beyond Compare I select both workshop folders to sync
Pic 1: You see purple and red means not synced so I expand the purple folders
Ah ha lol Formula Pro Test update, Melbourne update and new pack F1 2021 skin set
So delete the old versions of packages ( FPro and Melbourne) from backup on right
Then highlight purple and red files, right click " copy to the right "
Now shows everything grey so all synced
Click "expand all" makes it very easy to find package you want the folder number for
