booking server don't work

This tutorial seems to be rather outdated or am I just a wrong ?
This Booking system was rather used a few years ago .... as there were more cons than pro.
With this system .... once the session begun ... nobody might enter the working server.... they had to wait for the next booking .... or sometimes Booking time was rather long in the hope more drivers should sign in .... but too long meant: loss of some drivers tired with the wait.
I'm nearly sure that this system is less and less or not used any longer at all.
Pickup mode is the most used for a long time now.

I think that you mixed up ... "Booking" and "Prebooking" ....
What the admins used at the time was the second .... when "Pickup mode" didn't exist yet ... that was the method to reserve car and chosen skin so that only the "prebooked" drivers might enter this server ... without any password needed
"Booking" was the 1st existing system ( some minutes mostly ) in which you needed to click during a limited time ( 10 minutes often ) to sign in for the next event coming for this server.
Only those who signed in during this booking time were admitted on this session.
Now "Pickup Mode" may be used to prebook a special car and skin for some drivers ( they are automatically in the server with the chosen car and skin ) and free places also.
Leagues also add a password to reserve the entries for their members .... or don't add any password if it's meant to be a full public server.
