career mode - invalidated pit at monza

am playing the pc version with my ts-xw mapped to use the mfd with the wheel d-pad and buttons, specifically (6) as select/enter at the d-pad center. set up the pit schedule prior to the race and when the pit interface pops up prior to stopping cannot move the selection up or down to select any changes. it hangs at the top or bottom of the mfd and only lets me turn the pit limiter on/off. same issue with the keyboard.. am i missing something? did about 6hrs at the autodromo last night only to get dsq twice..

realize this is an essential element of the series and pit compliance integral to longer races. verified the integrity of my install and have the latest thrustmaster drivers for the ts-xw
