Clean Copy of rfactor2

Does anyone know if you can get a clean copy of rfactor2? I bought the game eight plus years ago. Over the years I have added mods and tracks. After the latest update (Dec) the game runs like crap. It used to run smooth, after the last update it stutters and runs like GPL at around 30fps. I was thinking that I could just reload the base again and see if that clears things up. Thanks ahead of time for any help or suggestions.

There isn't very much in the new release that should be impacting your framerates. If your system ran fine prior to December, this really should not be that much more taxing.
Back up your user data folder and then delete the original. rF2 will rebuild that folder and hopefully cure whatever is gumming up your install. If that works, you can then copy your controller profiles from the backup folder to the fresh UserData\Controller folder.

Thanks for your help. Did as you suggested and all works better now. Don't know what happened. This game is just a nightmare.
