CM or AC doesn't load anymore

Hello
I use to play AC quite a bit but for some reason it doesn't get to the main menu screen using the default launcher.
I've tried unistalling and reinstalling, removing my AC folder from my documents no luck. I've never had any issues before not sure whats changed.
Secondly I used to use CM and that doesnt even start anymore. I can't see any exe running, I've tried to run it admin mode (even though I am the only user with admin privileges) also tried to redownloading it and no luck.

Please help.

Check first of all if acs.exe and acs_x86.exe are still allowed in your firewall ... this is ( or was anyway ) the 1st usual reason for this kind of problems.
